Research on integrated control system technology on deepwater semi-submersible drilling platform

This paper describes the composition of semi-submersible drilling platform integrated control system,including the dynamic position control system,the vessel monitoring system and the safety system. These three categories of systems can be divided into several subsystems and should be designed individually. They exchange data between themselves by network. This paper analyzes the overall network architecture of integrated control system and the design principle. Meanwhile this paper summarizes the monitoring and control functions of each subsystem and the related equipments.
