Combined Method Based on Global Prior for Image Enhancement

The partial differential equation(PDE) process for the histogram modifications is modified.Histogram modifications and the forward and backward(FAB) diffusion processes are combined for the image enhancement.The trade-off parameter between the FAB diffusion and the histogram modification is controlled by the variance of the image noise and the image histogram.Meanwhile the fast algorithm is designed.Experimental results show that the method can enhance,sharpen,and denoise images.
