Realizing Multicast Technology in Real-time Video Surveillance System Based on VPN

This paper introduces architecture and principle of video surveillance system based on VPN.Since some video surveillance application proposes multi-point receiving requirement,this paper uses multicast technology in video surveillance system in order to solve this problem.It realizes multicast communication and briefly discusses the multicast security problems.In a VPN environment tests show that,using multicast technology can effectively solve more user reception problems in the real-time video surveillance system,and meanwhile security has also been a certain guarantee.
