A New Method for Conflict Evidence Processing in D-S Theory

There will generate a wrong conclusion when using classical DS evidence theory handle the highly conflict evidence information. To solve the problem of conflict evidence,this paper introduced the closeness degree between evidences based on the reliability of evidence,presented a new determine method for evidence weight; Then using classical DS evidence theory for data processing. It improved the fusion result under the condition of using the classic DS theory of evidence rules. Compared with other processing methods,this paper considered the conflict and the closeness degree between evidences,calculated the evidence weight objectively,it was faster in data convergence,the conclusion of the fusion was more consistent with facts. The numerical example shows the efficiency of the proposed method and provide a new way for DS evidence theory algorithm improving.
