Discussion on Digital Hydrological Station

In this article,a brief introduction of basic function demands and technological support for a digital hydrological station are given.Based on analyzing current status of hydrological station construction and management,a preliminary discussion about the basic meaning of a digital hydrological station is made.And that the station construction should take improvement of hydrology industry whole supportability and realization of full modernization in hydrology as core,digital technology as means and meeting demands for development of society and economy as aims are proposed.
