Wuhan Conservatory of Music held the Wuhan International New Music Festival 2007 during 13th to 17th October, and there were 7 new work concerts, 3 lectures on modern music, and 2 master classes on composition. There were two conferences held during the festival: 2nd Annual Workshop on Contemporary Music Composition and Research, and the National Academic Forum on Solfeggio and Ear Training.
