A New Algorithm for Non-square Image Scrambling Based on Arnold Transforms

Lifang Wang · Journal of Lvliang University · 2012

Two-dimensional Arnold transform matrix has its limitations in algorithm for non-square image scrambling, though Arnold transform is widely used in image scrambling.A better idea is that a non-square image is divided into square blocks with overlapping areas and every small square is scrambled from left to right.Experiments have confirmed that the new algorithm is available for any rectangle image, simple and safe, reaching a better scrambling with less iteration.
