A GIS-based water quality monitoring and information management system was developed in order to meet the needs of water quality information management.It has three-layer framework which are basic data layer,the information support platform and application system.It includes subsystems such as station network management,monitoring data processing,analysis and evaluation,data compilation.It uses key technologies which are dynamic reporting,data quality control and remote review in data compilation.
