Design of motion estimation based on FPGA

A program is designed to achieve the Motion estimation of video coding with the powerful FPGA.And,three-step search method is used.During the scheme design,VHDL design language has been used which has more powerful features,more mature technologies.And use the Quartus II software to do the timing simulation.The simulation results show that,both in function and in the realization of search accuracy,efficiency,and FPGA resource utilization on the chip,this design has obvious advantages.
