Application of the Internet Technology in Management And Service of Meteorological Information

The features of Internet/Intranet and its various services are introduced in this paper. We apply this technology to make the network upgrade. The Windows 2000 server is selected as the network operational system, and a long-range dial-up visiting server is added into the network. All the users in the local network can visit the server through long-range dial-up, and only need one Internet account, thus all the users of local network can visit Internet and realized dial in and dial out.
