Application of Capacitive Voltage Divider in Measuring Harmonics of High Voltage System

As the capacitive voltage transformer(CVT) in high voltage system can not be used to measure harmonics,making the harmonic measurement of high voltage system becomes a technical problem in power quality monitoring.This paper proposes a new application program on harmonic measuring of high voltage system based on capacitive voltage dividers.The errors of capacitive voltage divider are comprehensively analyzed.Taking 110kV capacitive voltage dividers for an example,software simulation and experimental test are carried out.The results show that the program is effective and feasible.
