This paper mainly introduces the construction of the safety monitoring automation system which includes the structure,composition and main functions of the system. It focuses on the multi-level measures against lightning,communications solution of ring and star topology network architecture to improve system reliability and integration of data access solution. This paper provides an reference for safety monitoring automation systems of dams and hydraulic structures.
