A Novel Algorithm of Simultaneous Computation of the Coefficients of DFT and MDCT

DFT(Discrete Fourier Transform) and MDCT(Modified Discrete Cosine Transform) are two widely used methods of time-frequency analysis in audio coding. A novel algorithm which outputs both DFT and MDCT only through one computation is proposed. Then the algorithm is analyzed briefly. The results of simulation show that the proposed algorithm is useful because of its little deviation between results of time-frequency analysis and results of simulation.
