A comparison of connective relations between English and Chinese sentences and their translation

Great differences exist between English and Chinese sentences.The English sentence structure is rigid with the use of various connectives while the Chinese sentence structure is generally loose and the semantic meaning is more important for defining a sentence.These contribute to the difficulties and the corresponding adjustment in E-C translation and also C-E translation for the purpose of.functional equivalence between the two languages.
