Research on the Metadata of Digital Library with XML

Library digitization is an effective method of managing and sharing resources of books.The data integrating of digital books information relies on unified expression format and powerful expressing means.According to the needs of describing the information of digital books,this paper proposes a brief metadata model that is suitable for network browse and search,then discusses the method to describe the metadata model in the XML language and the data conversion form relation database to XML document and data display on the browser.
