Two Ways of VB5.0 Accessing Database Under Client/Server Architecture

This paper discusses the principle characteristic of accessing database servers in contrast with theway of accessing database based on a PC from the angle of client applications accessing a database server. Thispaper also discusses the mechanism of ODBC comprehensively and points cot its advantages. At last, with anexample of Visual Basic 5.0, this paper demonstrates two methods of accessing a database server.
