Analysis of Turbo codes performance based on the RADIX4 algorithm

With the upgrade requirement of high data transmission in communication system,the old turbo recursive algorithm does not satisfy the systemic needs in the mobile terminal system of TD-SCDMA.This paper introduces the principle of basic structure of Turbo codes.On the basis of analysis of the algorithm of Turbo code,this paper brings forward the method of a RADIX4 Turbo decoder and offers the resource consumed and the performance of the decoder. it proves that the way of implementation is of very high practical value.
