Study on Performance of Adaptive Equalizer Based on LMS and RLS Algorithms

Equalization technology is effective to reduce Inter-Symbol Interference. Because of the random and time-varying communication channel,the adaptive equalizer is most used in practice. Equalizers based on LMS and RLS algorithms are studied in this paper. The impact of channel characteristics and design parameters on convergence rate and stabilization is analyzed.
