Study on the Architecture of Distributed Real-Time Svstems

This paper introduces the background of distributed real-time applications. After presenting two traditional architecture of distributed real-time systems, the paper studies another two architecture and analyses their features. It abstracts the feature of the distributed real-time system. A hierarchical model is proposed. This model standardizes the function for each layer. With the help of the standardization given by the hierarchical model, each layer can be defined and developed independently. And it is universal and flexible.
