Evaluation for Evidence Theory Based on Modified PIC Metric

The TPIC metric is proposed based on the PIC metric.And the evaluation for the fusion system with evidence theory is presented with the TPIC metric.The purpose of the fusion is to get more accurate knowledge about the target.Based on TPIC metric,a method for measuring the multi-evidence fusion system′s certainty about the real target is proposed.The quantitatively evaluation is achieved by measuring the certainty.The problem occurred when evaluate in the conventional way which applies entropy theory with taking the changes of the information uncertainty as the criterion without taking into account the validity of the combination is solved by this method.The effectiveness of the proposed method is proved by simulation.
