Exploration of the problem of the IT security and expenditure at universities

University net is the main object attacked by the hackers and the viruses.So it becomes a problem worthy of study to find the optimal balance point between the net security and the expenditure and to configure the preventive defense system reasonably and efficiently.By analyzing the relation between the net security and the expenditure,a nonlinear programming model is set up and solved,and then the optimal balance point is found out.Taking the Health Center for example,the sensitivity analysis is followed,which shows the model has a good stability.Finally,the model is developed by adding up the influence of software life cycle and the technological progress.The model proposed in this paper has good popularity and extensive application prospect.
