"Zenme-type" Rhetorical Questions and Corresponding Translation Strategies

Zenme-typerhetorical questions are the sentences characterized by indirectness,negation and contextualization simultaneously.On the basis of the characteristics,this paper attempts to discuss the translation strategies ofZenme-typerhetorical questions from the perspective of pragmatic function,including expressive,evocative and affirmative function.And it holds that in dealing with the C-E translation,the version is supposed to converge to the original in terms of the pragmatic function,the form and the tones of the original as much as possible.
