An Implementation Method of QoS Filtering for Real-Time Video Multicast
Zhou Jian · China Cable Television · 2004
For real time video multicast in heterogeneous and dynamic networks, this paper presents a method of QoS filtering based on terminal systems. Through bidirectional feedback channel between sender and receiver, the method can dynamically adjust the number of video layers and rate allocation on the sender's side with optimal algorithm, and thus adapt to a variety of QoS demands flexibly. The simulation results show that this method can ensure TCP friendliness, at the same time satisfy video multicast service with high quality and large sessions.
