Objective To investigate the role of dynamic emergency care model in the emergency care of critically ill patients with stroke. Methods Forty-six patients with severe acute stroke who were selected in our hospital from February 2012 to February 2013 as the observation group received dynamic emergency care model on the basic of the traditional emergency care model. The other 46 cases of severe acute stroke patients who were selected from February 2011 to January 2012 as the control group received the traditional emergency care model. The emergency care results were compared. Results The treatment time and length of stay of the patients in the observation group were shorter than those of the patients in the control group( P 0. 01) . Barthel index of the patients in both groups increased after treatment, while the increasing degree of observation group was higher than that of the control group ( P 0. 01) . Conclusion In emergency care of critically ill patients with stroke, using dynamic emergency care model can standardize the pre-hospital emergency process and improve the patients’prognosis.
