Progress of ionic liquid surfactants

Ionic liquid surfactants are novel functional ionic liquids,which possess characteristics of common ionic liquids and inherent amphipathy.Preparation methods of ionic liquid surfactants were briefed.Surface active performance such as surface adsorption,critical micelle concentration and surface tension et al were focused.Applications of ionic liquid surfactants in microemulsion polymerization and enzyme catalytic reactions were introduced and the prospect of future development was presented.
