In this paper,a data warehouse dimensional modeling to be used in customer value analysis area is discussed in the context of engineering machinery industry customer relationship management system building.Data warehouse dimensional modeling is divided into four stages: requirements analysis,high dimensional model design,detailed dimensional model development,review and confirm the dimensional model.Through the above operations,a data warehouse dimensional model is formed,which can be used for a series of data operations,such as extraction-transformation-loading,data mining,on-line analytical processing.
