Algorithm for TerraSAR-X Image Speckle Noise Reduction Based on Fuzzy Filter Kernel

TerraSAR-X is the first commercial radar satellite with 1m resolution.As for the reduction of spckle nosie,several classical algorithms were investigated based on the mathmatical model analysis firstly,and then the Fuzzy theory was introduced to construct an local adaptive fuzzy filter kernel to restrain the speckle noisse.The experiment with the TerraSAR-X images indicated that this algorithm has a good processing performance,for the removal of the speckle noise,as well as the potential of the Fuzzy theory for speckle noise reduction.
