The Optimization of Discrete Event Dynamical Serve System on a Hot Rolling Production Line

Qihong Liang · Control theory & applications · 1993

This paper deals with the optimization of discrete event dynamic systems (DEDS) typically repre-sented by production system on a hot rolling production linc. It studies the rolling pacing control problems by queueing theory. There the throughput rate and the collision accidence are made to be dependent on the extracting pitch and the kind of not slabs extracting from rcheating furnace. The analytical mathematical model under some conditions has been given. Some of the optimal results have been adopted in actual production management.
