A SIMPLE METHOD OF FINDING THE TERMS FORMED FROM THREE EQUIVALENT ELECTRONS

This paper gives a simple method of finding the terms formed from threeequivalent electrons for arbitrary values of l. This method works out ML=according to the various combinations of the three ml s. Moreover, it can further determine, conveniently and accurately, the terms of the three equivalent electrons, based on the times of occurrence of the various positive MLs.
