A generalized sphere decoder and amelioration

Considering that the standard generalized sphere decoder is of high complexity in some cases,a fast algorithm is proposed.The ameliorated algorithm works according to a pretreatment taxis strategy and a hybrid search strategy which is combined of zero-forcing detection with generalized sphere decoder.Simulation results show that,the ameliorated algorithm exchanges a small performance loss for significantly lower complexity.
