Technology Development of Microprocessor from Patents (I)——Early Development of Microprocessors

The first microprocesso(rfeatures of CPU integrated in a single semiconductor chip)invention is researched based on a large number of patents from protection,assignee,comparison and references of the patents. This paper gives a brief description of the first Micro Controller Unit (MCU) and Digital Signal Processor (DSP) patents. It also describes the early stage of microprocessor development from three directions: CPU,MCU and DSP.
