Space-time Coding in Wireless Communication

Space-time coding technique is a new coding technique which can combat with channel attenuation, obtain diversity gain against fading and enhance the data rate and / or capacity. This paper summarizes the basic principles of space-time coding and the features of 3 different space-time coding are introduced briefly. At last we sum up the round application status of space-time coding.
