The Relationship Between Hypertension and Meteorological Elements

Objective To study the relationship between hypertention and meteorological elments by analyzing incidence of hypertention and meteorological elements in order to serve for disease prevention based on weather forecasting.Methods Statistic correlation analysis was carried out between case history of hypertention patients in hospital and out-patient clinic of Hohhot in three years and meteorological elments such as air temperature,barometric pressure and so on.Results The incidence of hypertention in whole year is highest in winter,which is also increased high in climate cataclysm.Conclusion Meterological elments including season,air tempreture,barometric pressure and so on have close relationship with hypertention.Many factors such as great changes in air temperature and barometric pressure,increased daily temperature range,continuous high temperature and air pressure at a low ebb can predict the increased number of hypertension in 2～4 days,which is helpful for us to make preparation for its prevention and therapy in advance.
