Research on Self-diagnosis of EPS System for LIFAN 620 Vehicle

Aiming at the development of electric power steering system(EPS) of the LIFAN 620 vehicle,its possible faults were analyzed by using the method of fault tree analysis(FTA) based on its structure composition and working principle,and the fault points needing to detect and its identifying method were summarized;According to the different effects of the faults,the self-diagnosis flow chart and safety protection strategy were designed by utilizing different failure treatment methods.The research has practical reference value to different types of EPS fault diagnosis.
