Pinus taeda sprouts 1 to 7 times annually, the average 4 times, most of the families 3 to 5 times that occupy 91.5 per cent of one year. There were no significant difference among the families, but interaction between the families and the environmental sites. There were positive correlation between sprouting times and the average height increment. The progressive regression analysis showed that in the regressive equation, the annual sprouting growth factor selected into all different sprouting times and sprouting times were the important factor affecting its height growth, and the 3rd sprouting length annually was also its influence factor.Further researches will be done for using the results in prediction.
