With the development of the campus network,the traditional network management methods can no longer meet the current demands. Using professional network monitoring software to monitor centralized network has become a direction of development. This article first describes SNMP protocol and then introduces the use of Cacti detailledly. the same time gives the effect of the actual monitoring.
