Design of Equal Precision Digital Frequency Meter Based on NiosII

This paper designed a kind of self-adaptive and high-precision frequency measurement system based on NiosII,and it introduced the basic principles of the equal precision frequency measurement,and the equal precision frequency measurement IP core is also designed.The adaptive algorithm based on the principle of the shortest time for frequency measurement is adopted,for getting the best measure time,and the testing result is also given at end of the article.The testing result show that the system is of stable and reliable and it’s maximum relative error less than 10-7.
