Design and Implementation of Frequency Synthesizer in RF Front-end of Smart Antenna

The principle of the RF front-end in smart antenna is introduced in this paper, and the project of using frequency synthesizer by combining DDS and PLL in the first LO of the RF front-end is discussed, the characteristic of the phase noise and the restrain to the spurious level is also analyzed, it is useful for developing the RF front-end in the smart antenna.
