With the fast increase of mobil phone users and the astonishing growth of mobil phone’s short-messages in China,the handset keyboard input has aroused more and more people’s interests and concern, but, at present, the input technology that each big handset manufacturer has used is mainly the overseas intellectual property rights technology. This essay elaborated the present situation of the keyboard input of mobile-phone, and provided a new keyboard input for mobile phone Yinbi pinyin input method and introduced its application and the characteristics.The easy learning and simplicity of Yinbi pinyin input method have obvious advantages and prospects for development.
