On Statistica Analysis of Korean-Chinese Students' Tone of Monosyllabic Words in Mandarin

This article,applying modern experimental acoustics and statistics,through observing the shape of the student learners' vocal organs in the course of pronouncing the four tones of Mandarin Chinese,analyses the tone of Korean-Chinese student learners with Korean as their mother tongue.The acoustic experiment result showed that the actual shapes of student learners' vocal organs shared similarities with their own specific features.The types and contours of the first and the fourth tones appeared to be unstable,while those of the second and the third tones,with the relative stability from thesecond point to the eighth point on the tone curve,can be generallydifferentiated although they varied with different individuals.
