Automatic DSM generation from three-line-array digital images based on AMMGC multiple-image matching model

Song Ji · Cehui kexue · 2009

AMMGC, a multiple-image matching model for three-line-array digital images, is proposed in this paper. The model uses more than two line-array digital images to avoid blind information area and improve the successful rate of image matching. Therefore, drawbacks in traditional single stereo matching model can be overcome. In AMMGC model, image pyramid is used to provide initial matching values, and image checking strategies are used to check matching results. So, AMMGC model is appropriate for the matching of feature points and grid points. Systematic experiments were done on ADS40 three-line-array digital images, and the experimental results show that AMMGC model can extract massive homogeneous image points to form dense DSM, and has great feasibility and adaptability for automatic DSM generation.
