Cost Analysis of Host-based Rerouting in Full-connected Network

At present rerouting and padding do well at preventing traffic analysis in the network,however,they are at the cost of sending extra packets.This paper analyzes the extra cost of host-based rerouting in term of expected value and compares it with that of padding.Analysis result shows that the overhead of rerouting is higher than that of padding when the number of nodes reaches a certain value.In order to improve the performance of network,suitable methods should be chosen to camouflage the network traffic.
