Repetitive-Plus-PD Combined Control for Output Voltage of Single-Phase UPS

In order to improve the waveform quality of the output voltage of UPS, a control scheme combining repetitive control with PD control for UPS output voltage is proposed according to the fast response characteristic belonging to PID control and free static-error tracking characteristic belonging to repetitive control,and conditions of stability for the control system is proposed.The improved repetitive controller needs only to detect the output voltage of UPS,so it is simple in form and easy to implement.The prototype of 10KVA single-phase UPS has been trial-manufactured.Experimental results demonstrate the system has good steady-state and dynamic-state performance under linear or nonlinear loads.Total harmonic distortion(THD) of the output voltage is endurable.
