Comparative Study of Turbo Joint Detection Techniques with Interference Cancellation for TDD CDMA System

Two kinds of low-complexity Turbo joint detection algorithms,the soft interference cancellation with soft-information-output and the parallel interference cancellation with hard-information-output,are studied.Then performance of Turbo JD algorithms are simulated for a TDD CDMA uplink transmission and the complexity is evaluated.The result shows that both algorithms yield a much better performance than linear JD,Although SO-IC algorithm is better than H-PIC in terms of performance,it has much higher computational complexity,so H-PIC is more practical.
