Necessary and sufficient condition for left-continuity of interval-valued triangular norms

Based on the theory of directed partial order sets a necessary and sufficient condition for interval-valued triangular norms being left-continuous was obtained.The interval-valued triangular norm is left-continuous if and only if it preserves directed joins.
