Methods of Mixed Language Programming with Visual C++ calling Compaq Visual Fortran and MATLAB engine function are presented in detail. Some examples show that Fortran heritage codes are utilized efficiently, the resource waste is avoided and the developing periods of complex programming in the engineering and science research are shortened greatly by the mixed programming.
