Calculation and Optimization of the Earth Layer Structure Parameters in Non-Linear Vibration

Shu Wang · Journal of Northeastern University · 2000

Using the theory of repeating reflection to calculate the reflecting wave, five parameters are needed: the height of soil layer, density, velocity of transverse wave, cut modulus and the damping constant. A lay structure model is established by means of computer simulation to analyze and optimize these five parameters. The simulating results show, that the calculated earthquake waves are resembled to the observed waves. These results can become the foundation of the farther research about the earthquake non linear vibration.
