Performance analysis of WAPN base on ZigBee protocol
Ang Z · Microcomputer Information · 2008
Wireless personal area network(WAPN) are short-range wireless networks built from small, energy-efficient devices ,that require little infrastructure to operate ,or none at all. We assume that the network is operating in saturation mode ,the beacon enable and the star topology. We model the operating of the PAN using the theory of discrete time Markov chains, analysis the access probability of the ZigBee' s MAC, derive the relation of the probability of access, nodes, the packets, propose some advices to apply.
