Historiography Plight and Reflections on Methodology in the Study of Jun Kilns——Based on a Review of Academic History(I)

Over the past hundred years,the research of Jun kilns has formed three schools: literature school,archaeology school and science-tech school. Each school has got its academic achievement,but also historiography bottlenecks. The previous study of Jun kiln's history caused a further confusion by using improper research methods such as subjective inference,anti-logic reasoning or circulation of perjury. Based on the reflection of the past study plight and methodology and with an overall macro perspective of history culture,Jun kiln research, combined with modern technology analysis and production practice,should be comprehensive and interdisciplinary.
