Research on several endpoint detection methods under strong noise

Endpoint detection of speech signal under strong noise is a difficult problem. Under such situation all the traditional methods used before become invalidate, so it is necessary for us to search a new algorithm to solve this problem. Based on the distance measure of the models we get from speech signal frame and noise frame, a new endpoint detection algorithm is given in this paper and can solve the endpoint detection problem under the strong noise.
